Hi guys,
Bit new to loudspeakers and and amplifiers I decided on and have just purchased a Unison Research Preludio and a pair of ex demo Triangle Esprit titus EXs to go with the amp. Having thought about this for a long while I realized I'd forgotten to investigate the crucial aspect of matching and impedance.
So basically my question is am I going to be ok using the Unison's 6ohm output with the 3.8ohm triangles?
The speakers are rated at 60w and the preludio amp says approx 14w per channel which i've read is ample for high sensitivity speakers.
I'd heard great things about matching unison products with theirs so it seemed like a good match! If someone could answer this question for me I would greatly appreciate it. If they are in no way suitable for this amplifier I will cancel/amend my order for the speakers.
Apolagies in advance for my lack of knowledge here!
