Grado sr 325 sounds very thin on MacBook pro and iPhone but sounds beautiful (full bodied) on an acer computer (Realtek sound card) and a Phillips tv.. What is going on?

Even an OK sound card can make a big difference. The 325 is not that difficult to drive (but will sound its best with a good--but not necessarily a powerful--amp).
What is quality of files you are using with each device--not just the format but also the quality of the recording?
