I'm just wondering... I know alot of you have the cables that resemble this Head-Direct.com going from an ipod to your amp. And a lot of pictures I see have people putting the ipod ontop of the amp. By having the cable from the ipod to the amp curved alot will it hurt the amps opening for input at all by putting pressure as the mini input pushes up a direction since the cable is bent?

I just remember hearing that rapping earbuds or headphones around an ipod isn't good for the headphone jack and that it has ruined the headphone jack on some ipods, and I want to make sure that by bending the cable like most people it's not hurting my amps jack. Sorry if this was a stupid question. Thanks.

Just a friendly suggestion:

You might get more responses if you post this in the Portable Audio forum.

I've never used one so I can't really answer your question based on experience, but I suspect that most of the dock cables are fairly pliable and won't harm your iPod or amp.
