The reviews look horrible for that. Got bad reviews at Overstock, too: http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Technical-Pro-RXB113-1500-watt-Digital-Home-Receiver/3899232/product.html One of the reviews suggested it produces more like 75 watts per channel. For the money, I would trust the quality of this Sherwood receiver more if you just need a 2 channel recevier: http://www.amazon.com/Sherwood-RX-4109-Stereo-Receiver-Black/dp/B000MBUSD6/

If you just want an amplifier and are after sheer power, I'd consider this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Behringer-epx-2000-amplifier-/130969662635
Here are the specs: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-europower-epx2000-stereo-power-amp
That will peak out at about 350 watts per channel--enough to drive those Pyle speakers near their limits. Behringer generally makes good stuff. I've heard people recommend other amps in their Europower line as a best bang for the buck at another audio website. Use a computer as the source, you can EQ via a media player and control the volume with the computer. No need for a separate EQ.
