So I have one IEC connector; I'd like two transformers - one for the SOHA, another ~6Vish one for an Alien DAC (I want to make a single amp case to use at work). Is there any big no-no to wiring them up in parallel? I'm assuming each should have a fuse.

Like this:

IEC ---------------(fuse)------- SOHA
|
|---------(fuse)------- Alien DAC

I don't see anything wrong with this... it's the same as if the two transformers were plugged in separately. Make sure you choose the correct fuse for each, and that your power cord can handle their combined load, and you should be fine.
