Hi!

Im building a project ember tube amp. The one part of confused about is what type of wire to use as a lead to ground out the volume knob. The kit doesnt include a wire lead.

I have some solid hook up wire, and alternatively I have some 28 gauge kanthal resistance wire. Will these work? If not what is best to use?

Thanks!

Looks like the answer is on page 8 of this:

When he refers to a "wire lead" he means a spent/trimmed lead from one of the resistors (or similar through-hole part).  It's not supposed to mean a hookup wire.  Even solid hookup wire is not going to bend around the little pot threads like that.

Thanks! I should have realized that.
