Hi all, just wondering if the built-in headphone amp in the Minimax would have enough juice to adequately drive the HD 595's? I'm thinking they would, since the 595's are fairly easy to drive, but I just wanted to make sure before I plunk down $900.00 US!

Anybody who has any experience with the Minimax, please let me know your thoughts!

You might want to read the replies to a thread I started a few days ago asking the same question about the Minimax and the HD650s: http://www5.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=115344

The answer seemed to be yes, the Minimax can drive the HD650s with ease. Since the HD595s are easier to drive than the the 580/600/650s, it should have no problem with them.

I don't see any reason why it couldn't drive the HD595's, as riddley noted the MiniMax didn't have any problems with the HD600/650's when I had them.

Seconding elnero's reply. Mine drove my HD650 with plenty of power and the HD595 is easier to drive.
