Sony MDR-V250V Monitor Series Headphones with In-line Volume Control
vs
Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones

which one do you like more? 1 or 2?

Since this is a reward item, I can only choose one of the two mentioned above. So, NO need to mention Senn, AKG....

I owned the XD200 and it wasn't a great set of cans, but no means terrible, I haven't heard the 1st choice you have there so I cannot comment on those.

If you really have to choose between those two, go with the V250. They sound better, they're more portable and the capacity to mod them down the road is infinitely higher.

Both are terrible. XD200 sounds dark and just plain muffled. MDRV250's aren't any better.

If you must spend around $30, look at the SHP2500, HD201, and eH150, the latter might be the best that isolates/is closed <$50.

IMO spend another 40 bucks and get the MDRV6 if you really want Sony. It's one of the most regarded on Head-Fi <$100. But do NOT, I must emphazise, get the MDRV600.

Get the most expensive of the two (er...) > sell em on ebay > get a better pair for yourself!

The get and sell is a great idea, but for the others suggesting alternative phones, do you read before posting?
