Hi,

Just got my m12. It is going into a 50 ohm preamp. There is a nasty popping / snapping noise that happens regularly. I have changed cables, etc... I can play the DC04Pro with the exact same setting and it works fine.
This is with UAPP. for some reason I cannot get it to play at all with HIBY music player. I keep getting a file not supported kind of message when streaming qobuz in the HIBY music app. (which is also odd)

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried lowering the volume in case it's clipping? Drop the volume on it to 50 percent, and if the noise goes away, nudge it up a little at a time until it starts happening.

Thanks. Does this dongle clip at much above 50% ? If so, that is not good....

Been messing with this for a while now. Not very thrilled with it. Will only work with one of my USB cables, well enough, but still has small pops. Really finicky device. I think I will return it or trade it.
