Thread title says it all, looking for opinions for an AMP/DAC combo unit as an upgrade to the CMA 400i. Headphones being used are one of the following. Meze Empyrean, Abyss Diana V2, Focal Clear MG. Budget is around $1,500.

Cheers!

The CMA Twelve is a logical starting place if you like the Questyle sound, but the lack of an analogue input is a downside.

The Burson Conductor series are strong and definitely worth a look.

Have you considered keeping the Cma 400i and getting an additional amplifier so that you keep the Dac section, which is not bad, on the Questyle?
Singxer Sa1 would definitely be an upgrade.
Or something with tubes like Feliks Elise, Little Dot Mk3.
