How does the DT250 compare with the V6/7506 gaming-wise?

How does the DT250 compare with the V6/7506 for music like rap/r&b/trance. Which has stronger bass?

I read somewhere about mp3s sounding ****tier with better headphones. So do MP3s with 128kbps sound bad with the DT250 or V6/7506?

GTecX: The DT250 actually works quite well for R&B/Rap/Trance music - some people may prefer it over even the V6/7506 for those types of music. I haven't done much computer gaming over headphones enough to give you a valid opinion of how the two compare for gaming.

However, 128kbps (16KB/s) MP3s quality can range from okay to downright crappy, depending on the encoder/decoder used and the volume level of such recordings. And shyte MP3s sound shyte even with crappy stock headphones - and downright horrid with good headphones. Even 320kbps (40KB/s) MP3s are no match for CDs in sound quality - CD's transfer rate is actually 1.2Mbps (150KB/s).

i have the DT250's and I refuse to listen to 128bit MP3s... they sound too horrible!! 320 is pretty damned close to CD quality (for me at least).

Sorry.. no experience with the Sonys
