Greetings ! I am a relatively new here.
I currently have an EarMax Pro (with NOS tubes) with my Senn HD600 (with Cardas cable) driven by a relatively old Wadia 850 CD player and am extremely temped on getting the EAR HP-4 as it seems to suit my system and it is a good sounding head amp from what I've read.
There are XLR (balanced) inputs and outputs on the HP-4, can the unit be used as a balanced in/out pre-amp apart from a headphone amp ? (I need a balanced pre-amp with my CD player and my pair of Dynaudio active studio monitors)
In your experience, how does it sound with HD600 comparing to EarMax Pro ?
