Hello. I currently own a 20GB iPod and I've become interested in the 60GB Zen Xtra. I have some questions about it:

1) I know that the Zen is not compatible with iTunes, but I would still like to use iTunes to manage my music. I was wondering if either the official Creative software, or third party software (Notmad) has the ability to syncronise a directory with the Zen (including subdirectories)? So when something is deleted or added to the local music directory, the same actions will take place on the Zen.

2) Can you browse by Genre on the Zen?

3) When connected to your computer, does it need to be plugged into an outlet and a USB2 port? Or can it hold its charge through the USB port?

4) Can it play AAC?

5) I've heard that the iPod can power the Etymotic ER4S sufficiently without an amp. Can the Zen do the same?

I answer to Question #1, check out this thread on Nomadness.net of how someone got their NJB3 and subsequently how someone else got their Zen Xtra to work with iTunes.

Zen driver/hack for MAC?
