I'm seriously considering trying to get this phone, and before I do, I need to know the following:

1) Are these open or closed? I've read conflicting things about this.

2) How is their isolation? Would it be good for using on a bus or train (if you've used Grado, how do the isolation compare with them?)?

3) Name your favorite thing about this phone

Iron Dreamer hit the first 2 straight on

It is very comfortable and is fun to listen to on almost all recordings. Thats what I would say are my favorite parts of it.

i can only repeat what the others said, it's fun to listen to all kinds of music with them and they are very comfortable.

i won't use mine outdoors or with a portable because with my setup (onboard nvidia soundstorm => creative speakers (which seem to amp the headphone out) => dt531) i can just use them at the right volume. if they are connected directly with the soundcard, the volume is too low.

I second that!

About the isolation compared to Grados; I think they are equal. However this is not based on experience (yet). I haven't yet received my Grados.
