Hi,
I tried to google about how to solder two 3 pin xlr to 3.5mm plug,
and I found a picture like this:

but some people said it should be "2" to the Left/Right channel, "3" to the ground, and leave "1" blank.

Does anyone know what's the differences between leaving "1" blank, and hook "1" and "3" together?
How does it affect to the sound?

Hi,

technically, Rane Note 110 covers most of the ground. In my opinion it needs to be technically correct before judging it's sound makes sense. OTOH, a correctly wired interconnect shouldn't sound at all!

Which side is input, which is output?

Cheers,
Sebastian.
