Well, I received the PX100s today. I really like them. They sound great. I don't think the 80s are for me. I'll have to experiment a little more.

For portability, the PX100s are going to fit my needs pretty well.

I have the SR-80s as well, and while they give adequate bass when properply driven, I never really considered them ideal for bass-heavy music. For that, there are other headphones (and always a trusty 10" Velodyne sub). That being said, they are still my favorite cans.
