I have a question regarding signatures, which I could not seem to find an answer to anywhere. The rules prohibit political or religious posts, but what are the rules regarding political or religious statements in signatures? Are there any? If, for example, someone wanted to either criticize or support a particular politician, they presumably could not do so explicity in a thread, but could they do it anyway in a signature? Just curious as to what the rule or guideline is.

P.S. I'm not asking for the purpose of making any such statements in my signature. I"ve just seen a few lately that I thought may cross the line, but I'm not even sure there is one.

i think signatures count as posts.

Mine was forcibly edited 2 weeks ago.

Guess I cant complain, I would gladly use my signature for ad space if it allowed me to participate in the forums here
