Hi all, I'm new here. Here I've just red great inputs on hooking speakers to this Harman Kardon AVR525. Well, I have the same and for some years I've been wondering if my Cerwin Vega VS 80 speakers benefit from this receiver. Since I've just researched the speakers too I saw reviews that VS 80 do not really have mid range. I kind of agree to it. However when I crank the volume of my Harman Kardon AVR 525 I believe I hear them in full. Is that common?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot for any input.

Few years down the road the mastery got resolved: The Receiver appeared underpowered for this type of speakers. I've added a power amp and everything changed- speakers are nice and bright.
