I have 1 source and 2 amps: a Prehead and a Grado RA1.

As you might know, the Prehead has a pair of passive bypass outputs.

What I have done so far is connecting the source to the Prehead using a pair of Nitrogens and connecting the Grado RA1 to the bypass output of the Prehead using a second pair of Nitrogens.

So the signal going to the Grado amp goes through two Nitrogens which are "inseriated" via the Prehead, right?

My question is: which is the effect of having two ProSink terminations on the path of the signal (instead of just one)?

Thanks!

You'd have to ask Justin for the best explanation, I can only guess that you'll have more volume attenuation?

Justin? I think you mean Eric and I think your right, the question would be best directed to him for the best answer but my guess would be the same, more volume attenuation.

That is correct. Though the actual sonic performance of the cables will be unaffected, you will find that the volume attenuation is increased.

I'm glad you like them!
