Hello everyone,

I just picked up a little O2 amp which is running beautifully.  But I live in an area, where power cuts are quite common.  I am interested in knowing that will the O2 get damaged if there is a sudden loss of electricity? It is plugged into the wall.

Also, will the power cut damage my headphones?

Thank you

If you're running a variant of the O2 with batteries installed then you're fine. And even if you're not it's pretty safe still.

You should be more worried about power surges than outages.

If it has batteries installed, it will just switch to battery power if there's no AC present.  A power surge I'm not sure of.  There's always the possibility of damage from an unprotected outlet.
