Are there any D66 owners out there that has done a comparison between the Eggo D66 and Sennheiser HD497....

Is it considered an upgrade? or just different sounding....

anyone know if Senn HD497 is a newer model of HD475? They are in the same price range and they look pretty similar... Just curious.

I assume that you have your HD497's for portable use.. If so, Id say that the eggo's are more suited.

I don't really understand what you mean when you say "upgrade". HD497's are open headphones while Sony eggo's are closed ones and yes of course they sound different.
