I use ASIO4ALL with my Maudio Revo 5.1 to get bit perfect playback using JRiver Media Center
I feed SPDIF from the PC to a Full Digital Reciever.
I have to "checK" the "Force 16bit Samples (Buggy WDM driver work around)"
in ASIO4ALL to get this to work
My question is what does this do?
My Receiver can accept an upsampled 24/192 or 24/96 digital signal and displays such. If i send such from the PC it displays 192 for example.
My question is it some strange combo of 16/192 due to this check box in ASIO4ALL?
In which case would JRiver be upsampling, then ASIO4ALL be changing the bit thingy to 16 from the upsampled 24??? in which case defeating the purpose.
