I was wondering if there is a difference in polarity between a 2 pin IEM connection vs a QDC connection? Is the polarity reversed? If so, does it make any difference if you hook up the R and L channels in the same manner? Is there a set standard? Thanks for any clarification.

I've heard that there is a difference in polarity between 2 pin and QDC, but I can't confirm. Also, the pins on a two pin connector are .78mm apart, whereas the QDC pins are .75mm apart. So I believe the fit would be just a hair off. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you for the information. I had read that thread but still wonder if polarity makes any difference. Like with speakers, if you reverse the polarity of the speaker wires on both sides, it doesn’t make a difference. The only problem is if one side is hooked up differently than the other. What raised the question for me were some comments regarding the Thieaudio Voyager 14, which is curiously available with both 2pin and QDC connectors.
