I just received my u24 yesterday and it seems like the USB connection on the unit itself is very flakey and unstable. If the unit is bothered at all, it will lose USB connectivity. For example, I can just barely tap the top of the cable or the unit itself and it will lose connectivity. Does this happen to anyone else? Or did I just get a bad unit?

I had used the U24 before. I did experience the same problem like yours.

Mine was very solid, but after only about 20 cable removals and insertions, something on the usb jack developed a short. After that, it blew the fuse on my laptop if the wire moved at all.

Sent it in over two months ago for an RMA, and still haven't gotten the replacement back.
