I recently bought the Zhaolu 2.5A without the Headphone Amp upgrade. Does the model still have some generic headphone amp?
There is a headphone out in the front can I just plug in my Headphone into it or should I connect it to an amplifier.

I did have the cap bypass mod done by Eddie from diykits.com.hk

It comes with a 1/2 decent but inexpensive opamp based amp by default. The upgraded amp is a discrete amp.

Opamp swapping can help improve the sound of the amp, but you may eventually want to upgrade to an external amp.

EDIT: did I say "amp" too much?
