Do your PK-1's leak much sound to the outside world, the way open phones do? That is, would wearing PK-1's in a quiet office environment be OK, or would they bother people nearby?

no they don't leak sound outside but they let outside voice coming in, just like other earphones do

I use my PK-1's on a daily basis in my (usually) quiet office. As long as I keep my volume decentl (50-ish dB), I can always hear if someone needs me, and when I take them off to talk to someone, I can't even hear the sound coming out of them when they are less than a foot from my ear.

Verdict: Outstanding Office Headphones!

PK1's leak very little sound unless the volume is WAY up. They are great for the office or for use around a spouse that does not share your love of music

The PK1's leak noise as much as any other earbud. Playing music at regular sound levels is inaudible to anybody more than 4 feet away. However, when I was burning in mine with pink noise, I could hear it across my room. I use mine at work, no one seems to be bothered.
