Anyone know what the output impedance of the OMZ DAC (dac-only unit) is? I can't seem to find any info regarding this, and I'm wondering about the usefulness of an output buffer (Like the Bryson) between my OMZ and LD MKV. For that matter, does the input impedance on the amp matter, or is it ultimately determined by the headphone impedance? Confoozled by impedance mismatching....

Yeah, that would be the next option, as he's really quick to respond to emails...I just saw that he was online and posting at the time when I originally posted this.

Output impedance is about 1.1K ohm, most of it in series resistance (a simple protection against a shorted output).
This should not interact much with any reasonable amplifier which has an input impedance of 10K ohm or more. Let me know if there is any issue with that. The design has some options...
