What do you use as an equalizer for movies? I still cannot find one that I can use with media player classic Well I found one that could be used as a plugin, but it crackled.

That's the one. I looked on google as well but no real luck. Thanks.

I agree, the AV-710 needs an equalizer for certain applications. Just because it puts out a very good signal doesn't mean it doesn't need adapting for different applications. i.e. it just doesn't sound the same coming from a headphone setup vs. a speaker system.

With respect to the topic, sorry i don't know of any GOOD equalizers out there. I've used a few, all crap. I'm stuck with WMplayer 9 and its EQ. Though i find it very decent.

P.S. Damn you foobar for not being able to play movies.

I have long stopped using Media Player classic but use zoomplayer instead. There's an EQ in there and in some directshow decoders like ffdshow there's an EQ also.

If it's crackling is it because you boosted it too much?

I guess maybe I'll look for some more DVD software.

Grr one more question...no sense on creating a new thread. When I watch
movies, it takes up like all my freaking processor with this card...why is that?

Hmm yea would it be that cable from my cd rom drive that puts the audio processing on my processor?
