I use my emu0404 to output to my pimeta right now. I just bought a t-amp so I can hook up some bookshelf speakers that I have around. Basically I'd like to add a pre-amp or maybe just a simple switch to avoid messing with cables all the time. Any advice on cheap products? (Think under $40 ideally). I could just build a switch but was wondering if a preamp would give me any sort of benefit in this case. Thanks.

I wonder if you could use a RCA splitter at the RCA out of the card then run to the T-AMP... Then; Sound check for sonics lost or the same....

If this is off base, its due to my ignorance of cards in general...
