Hi. I would appreciate if someone can tell me if it is possible to use the 6H30 tube “Supertube” with the ECC type 2 adapter? I know that even though the 6H30 is not a substitute for the 6922, it is a variant of the former. I’m interested because I love the sound of the Extreme when I put the ECC88 as a gain tube.

This morning I got a reply to an email that I sent to Mikhail. Where he wrote that the 6H30 cannot be used in the adapter: the tube draws too much current and it damages the tube.
