Well I see the button that says search the thread for posts, so i type my name in and it says no posts found
 
is there some other way to get a showing of all of a users posts in one topic, or all posts made by this user that I am not seeing?

When I searched for my new for sale listing in the cable FS forum with the term "cardas sennheiser", my listing would not show up AT ALL in the FIRST FIVE PAGES of results. But I got a bunch of other expired and sold listings dating back to 2004. The name of the listing was "FS: 10' Cardas Cable for Sennheiser HD580, 600, 650 - Like New"; I had to change it to "Cardas Sennheiser Cable".
 
What a PITA.
 
This would have never happened with the old Head-fi; Huddler sucks

Yeah, could not agree more!
This forum software really sucks, and even worse; no admin seem to be around anymore to follow up with all those bug reports.
