I'm in the market for a cheap mp3 player and saw this sansa express that seemed to be what I was looking for.
So I searched this forum and others sites to know what people thought about it and I'm not so sure anymore...
The express has a fairly good reputation on this forum but the fact is that most of the impressions of this player come from the same posters (shigzeo and some others).
Also I saw reports of a claimed unreliability. Is this true?

What I want from the player is the following:
-good sound quality
-sd expansion (does it accept μsd-hc? is it well integrated like cowon d2?)

I thought about the clip which has been getting great reviews from everyone but the lack of memory expansion made me look elsewhere.

I'd be using the express with stock earphones or cheap alternatives (ep-630 or so).
I also have a HD555 at home, I know it seems to be overkill for such a cheap player but I wondered if it could do a decent job with them.

So can the sansa express meet my needs or do I have to spend more on something else?
