Under About -> Contact us at http://www.rssouthafrica.com/ I see they have trade counters. Are these trade counters allowed to be accessed by the general public?
The reason why I am asking is because one of the trade counters is really near from where I live.

In the UK, the trade counters are only for members of the trade, RS sell to businesses there, and you need to have a cost code from your business that has an agreement with RS. I know this because I sourced a few choice components for my millet through my Dad's work (£20 onto what i believe was a grand or so... so i don't feel guilty)

It may work the same over there, you could just email them and ask?
