Hiya guys !

For a month now, my d22s were bugging me at a point that I decided to cut the whole cord ( the cord heading to the left and right driver and the plug were all broken ).

Is there a way to repair them using a new cord set ( Can I buy a cheap pair of headphones @ $10 and take the cord ? ) If I weld it back carefully, is it going to work ? I hope so :p

Thanks !

If you take off the pads and unscrew the screws that you'll find, you can remove the cup. then carefully de-solder the remains of the cord and put in a new one. It would have to be in the Y cord style, if I remember how the D22 works. Haven't owned it for a long while!

as mam said, if the d22 is anything like the d66, you can unscrew the earcup and re-solder a new cord in there. polarity and grounding issues are details i can't provide for you, though.
