I was wondering if changing opamps changes the power (volume) that an amp puts out. I have a DAC with a headphone amp and the headphone amp section has switchable opamps. The volume with several of my headphones is less than optimal so I was wondering if changing opamps would increase the volume at all or just change the sound? If so I would probably swith it out but if not then I will just continue to feed my tube amp from the DAC and plug in there.
