Question about Mullard M8161 Driver Tube

That seller charges considerably more because of the tube matching service.

I am not saying it is justified, the service price that is.

The Mullards from Yen Audio ARE NOT M8161!
They are CV131, the rugged but civillian version of the EF92.
M8161 is even more rugged and has less variations of quality (military...).
I dont know why Yen writes such a misleading auction title and wants so much money for not so interesting tubes...
The description below is right though.

I suggest to wait for REAL M8161 with the big shield logo.
I got mine for ca. 32$ on nov/24.

I already ordered one of the first pair before even reading this thread. Figured $24.88 shipped was a negligible amount to risk, even if they're completely unsatisfying (which I doubt will be the case)
