Hi, another newbie here, please forgive me for any ignorant statements I'm bound to make on this forum. I just recently bought a pioneer VSX-1019AH HT receiver and was wondering if any of you would know if that would be sufficient to drive a set of headphones.
It's to my understanding that as long as I use the included ipod cable that came with the receiver, DAC will be handled by the receiver itself so I should not need a stand alone DAC, but I'm not so sure if the Amp will be good enough for a set of headphones. From what I read, it can be hit or miss with a HT receiver being able to power a set of headphones.
