Question about HDVD 800 with an iPhone 6S Plus | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I'm currently looking at purchasing an HDVD 800 / HD 800 combo.

My intended source will be my iPhone 6S Plus and my iPad Air.

Would a simply using the Camera Adaptor Kit work? Or am I out of luck here?

This is what I do with the Chord Mojo / Hugo. I see no reason why it shouldn't work with the HDVD 800 also.

I do not think it will work and you will instead get an error saying that the device requires too much power.
You will most likely need a powered hub.

If you want to be able to charge your iPhone or iPad while using the CCK make sure you buy the newer CCK USB 3 version. A little larger in size and price than the older CCK but a good choice for the OPs planned use.
