Hey, I just got the Sennheiser HD485, they sound great right off the bat but I'm going to do a little burning in.

I'm wondering about the volume as I do not want to hurt the drivers since I just got them, I like to listen to it kinda loud, so I'm too sure..

I got them on 50% volume with (speakers) 25% on winamp, and device volume on HIGH, or 100%.

I usally listen to it like this but with winamp to 75%, I put to 25% because it seems low enough I just hope it isn't too low..

Say about 1-2 days of playing it at 25% before I can go to 50% ye?

Using an SPL meter I set loudness at around 75 dB. as a constant for 200 hours or whatever using music and less than that with pink noise.

o.O, I didn't know an advice like that existed. Very helpful, I am going to buy one and see where 90 dB is on my music (thats when it can damage your ears if listen for a very long time, right?)

And so 75dB would be safe? Ok thanks!
