Hello,
 
I'm new to audiophillia and I'm not sure what to make of these graphs from Golden Ear. The frequency response, spectral decay, and reviewer's opinion at the bottom are all very similar. Does this in any way mean that the DT 860 sound quality is similar to HD 800?

Also, I'm not sure about the DT 860s in absolute terms because other than this review, many people seem to dislike them and say they're inferior to the DT 770/880/990 series.

I doubt it. I'm pretty sure the review considered the price to performance ratio.

In the reviewer's opinion section, this seems possible, but the graphs are hard data that is completely objective.

I must say, the graphs do look pretty similar. But the frequency graphs are pretty different. A 5db difference in the bass region. That's a pretty big difference.
