I want to know if I use an external DAC (the entech in my signature), I will feel a big difference between a CD player for 200 or 300$ and another one for 500 or 600$ ?

I doubt it, I dont notice a difference using different transports with my Entech, just buy one that is reliable and stop at that.

I would buy a couple cheaper sources, try them out, and sell the one you don't wish to keep. IMO a good CD player (ex. apollo) should have a good enough analog output you wouldn't bother using a DAC.

I want use the external DAC because I will use it also as a source selector ...

DAC (3 digital cnx) => Darkvoice 336i => power amp => speakers

(also can plug headphone on the darkvoice)
