The character highly practical of a CD Player with a GOOD period of training of amplification for phones (with or without volume control) it is a so convenient advantage for confortable hearings in the room, in the bed, that I think that perhaps this compensates the eventual loss of quality in relation to the use of dedicated hedphone amplifier.
I know that Marantz CD-5001 (Non-Ose is best, no?) has an excellent amplification of phones. This cost u$300.
(very argued in another topics)
And the Shanling CDP T-100... in Ebay, u$500, more or less.
And the Onkyo DX-7333 (cost??)
Another CD Player (in the truth, DVD Player) that it offers this amlpification is the old Nakamichi DVD-10 and the DVD-10s. With volume control.
Price retail was u$700, but now it cost only u$300 (used...) in Audiogon.
But... wath is the best model? Other?...
I thank the opinions.
