Quick question.

I have a tube amp on the way (Jade), and will be getting a nice DAC within a week or so. I have upgraded power cables to use for each of these, but plan on either plugging it directly into the wall or a cheaper power strip/surge protector.

My question is, would it be worth it to look into an upgraded power "conditioner"? Will it make a big difference in sound quality in your opinion?

If you think it would, could you send over some recommendations? I am not looking to spend much more than $100 if I can help it. I looked at this onefrom Newegg that even says "Audio/Video" in the title. Overkill?

Any help is appreciated.

I have a Furman PST-8D, also it is hooked up to a Oyaide R1 receptacle. Before The R-1 Had my amp go to the Power Conditioner. It made the back ground a little more blacker. Now it sounds a little too soft for me with the receptacle. Goes straight to the receptacle now.
