Right now I am using the Aria connected via USB and it sounds great! I noticed however that the DAC chip inside is the same as Meier uses in the Porta Corda (now replaced by Move) which leads me to believe it is not of the highest quality. I was looking at the Beresford TC-7510 because it got great reviews, it's not expensive and it supports 24 bit. This unit accepts digital coax or optical. My question is does it matter where the coax/optical is coming from (my audigy 2 platinum) in regards to sound quality? How would the digital outs on my card compare to say, one of those USB transports?
