and the Touch 2g work together, or is it impossible because of the pin changes in the Touch 2g?

no they dont. only the qables iphone LOD will work. the pinout on the touch 2G requires the same serial ground pin (pin 11) to be shorted to ground

I have an offer to buy a used one. The seller says that it works on an iphone.
Is there also a difference between the different Iphone gtnerations, or works an Iphone Qable with every Iphone/Touch Generation?

Folks here are working on finding the perfect iphone solution. They've found solutions that work, but still give warning messages, or flight mode messages. Ipod touch cables have been figured out already. I think they work with the iphone, but still have a message (just a click away though).
You can catch up on the DIY progress here though.
I'm sure some commercial products work fine already.. I havent looked around so I dont know which.
