In all seriousness, though, I wonder how they sound? I mean, it's not exactly a reputable brand and it's probably a waste of money, but surely there must be a few rich Head-Fi'ers who can take one for the team?

Apparently the last time the Perfect Unison made a fancy pair of headphones at the end of last year they sourced the drivers from Ultrasone (link). Maybe they won't be too bad, although I'd be surprised if the sound was wasn't boa-ring relative to other high-end offerings.
