One of the larger pro audio dealers in Oslo recently had a clearance sale on everything Sennheiser, so well, I had to buy something.
I picked up a PX100 for NOK 213,- (40% off) or about $33. First, I must say that they sound surprisingly good for something this small and cheap. Second: They seem pretty bass heavy, and since I bought them new from a large dealer, I assume they're the new model of PX100. That makes me wonder how the bass on the older model, that supposedly has more bass, sounds.
Is there any way of checking if i have a new or an older model? I can't find a date stamp anywhere on any of the injection moulded ABS parts, so are there other "hints" to be had?
Now I just need to get a decent portable player to go with them.
