By saying "You can dye them to whatever color you want" what do you mean? that i can just buy regular lets say black color and just paint them? will it not effect the sound quality? or dye is special kind of color?

and just to be sure, in the reverse mod is the drivers are exposed?

Dye is a type of liquid that is used to color a fabric for the most part, such as clothing. I hope this is a good explanation.

And the reverse 414 pad mod is cutting a hole in the pad and putting the pad where you cut it onto the headphone

when you do it, it is pretty simple
