Which one is at least as good as Sennheiser PX-100? Which one would you prefer? Any comparisons?

*** Koss KSC-75
*** Ultrasone HFI-15G
*** AKG K24P

Haven't heard the K24P's, but avoid the K26P's like they were the plague. They are thee worst pair of headphones I've ever tried.
I own the PX100's are and happy with those for portable use.

I have to say that about the PX-100...not counting headphones/buds that come bundled with a portable player. I truly hope mine were defective, I'm feeling confused every time I read good things about them.

I recently bought the PX-100 and listened for a whole day, then bought the KSC75 the next day. It took me 10 seconds to decide on returning the PX-100.

I don't remember ever reading bad reviews of the KSC75. For the same cost as the KSC75 you can buy some true garbage.

K24P are very comfortable, feel secure, but IIRC sound a bit harsh. KSC75s sound somewhat less clean than PX100s, but are more fun and not as fatiguing. PX100s are just too bright for my taste. I prefer the KSCs out of these three.

uhmmm I don't get it. mine sounded like I was listening to music underwater since it was too dull woof. man I wish I could get one of these brighter ones. Either the newer px100s are different sounding than the old ones or you havent heard them burnt in cause my px100s sounded good out of the box then became muddy and dark after burn in

Fatality_, while saying "bright", do you mean px-100 give it more "detailed" than ksc-75?

Unfortunately, most people haven't heard of these.

These will DESTROY the sound of your PX100's with ease. They are, IMO, the best open portable cans out there for under $100.

Also interested in the Ultrasone HFI-15G. Please tell me more about them.

I did a search and the scant information here is all positive so I'm curious.

This was a few months back but I did test them out with my source.
They sound more neutral and laid back than the KSC75's.
Smooth lower ends and mids, highs, I can't remember too much.

There was quite a bit of detail

I realise that someone reviewed it here before. Search button time.

i would get the ksc75 or ur40 and take the foam out from behind the driver

i like their midrange, really good for rock

px100 was too much bass for me and their sound wasn't as lively as the koss
