PX-100 or KSC-75

I have both, and prefer the Koss's cleaner, more neutral sound. The mid-bass bloat (which is good for some rock music) on the PX100 is too much for vocal and jazz or classical music that I listen to. If Koss sounds like a breezy sunday afternoon in the spring, then the PX100 sounds like a Friday night of hard partying, if you know what I mean.

No. I guess you don't.

Just get them both and give the one you like less away.

I'm going with the Koss then, looks like it will be good.

And to answer your question Mik, there is only store in Toronto that I have been able to find them. Believe it or not, it is the UofT bookstore in the St. George campus. Grab yourself a pair. $19.99+tax

I have both the PX100 and KSC75 (headband-modded). SQ-wise, I like the KSC75's sound over the PX100 although both have exceptional sound quality. The reason I'm not selling off my PX100 is that they are more portable, especially with the hard case that came with it. Since I attached my KSC75 to a headband (better comfort and sound for me), it's less portable.

Plus, if you wake up and suddenly you're feeling a bit vain, you might want to go for the PX100.

With all comments considered, the choice is clear then, KSC-75 it is

Besides, knowing me, I'm definitely going to try the Kramer's mod!

I wish I had that much money for a secondary headphone :p But I can't spend too much on a second headphone when I'm already paying over a grand for my main setup. Then I've got speakers to buy, a new guitar etc...

PX100 are okay, but an AKG 26P is closed and sounds easily as good (if not better) than a PX100.
